Task explanation:

For this task I created an acrostic poem on FIRE and ACE, if however you don't know what an acrostic poem is, then I will tell you, an acrostic poem is a poem that goes down by the side, you think of a topic, and the letters go down the sides and next to them is a sentence.

Cybersmart task

Task explanation:

To complete this weeks cybersmart task, I used Remove.bg once again to remove the background of a beautiful photo of me and put it in a place where I would like to be.

I chose the GI Pizza Hut.

Aotearoa te reo place names

Task explanation:

For this task I worked with my cousin, Francisco to do this task. In this task, we found out meanings of places in Aotearoa, what they are famous for, their real names and where they are located.

This task was fun and I like it a lot.

Jumbo math task

Task explanation:

For this task I had to find a combination of two animals to find how much I would need to make the weight of the African elephant, which is 6500 kg.

I found this task very easy and I really enjoyed doing this.

Auckland museum jigsaw puzzle

 

Task explanation:

For this task I went on to the museum jigsaw puzzle site and scrolled down and found a turtle. I finished in in 32mins and 4seconds. Don't blame me, I don't get puzzles. I found it confusing and very hard but I liked it. If you would like to try a puzzle here is the link.

Prototec math test

 

Task explanation:

So today I decided to test myself on stage 7 math on Prototec and here is my score, it was pretty hard. The time tables and divided bys were pretty easy in my opinion, the square roots, fractions, percentages and factors were very confusing, but I pushed through.

My new goal is stage 8. 

(The final stage of Prototec).

Brainstorm on connections

Task explanation:

To complete this task I needed to think up ideas of what connections are and make a brainstorm of the ideas. I think this task was a lot of fun and it was a bit hard, but still fun.

Task explanation:

To complete this weeks cybersmart task I reminded myself how to use Google meets with the rules and manners that are needed, I enjoyed this task, it was very fun and I would enjoy doing more tasks like this.

Task explanation:

For this task I had to create math equations from images and word problems all about times tables. I found this task very easy and enjoyable as well.

For this task I buddied up with Shane and used google slides to do my work. This task was about identifying the capacities of everyday objects. I thought this task was really fun and I would like to do a lot more like this because it made me think very hard.

Kia Ora Koutou, to complete this task I copied a Pepeha from our class paepae and added on a few more lines, I have also re-translated my Maori Pepeha into Samoan. I liked this task because I learnt more information about me in a different language.

To complete this task I used google docs to create questions on a book called training for success, I buddied up with Francisco and gave him my questions so he could answer them. I liked this task because it made me think and use kinds of questions I have never asked.

One minute, one sport writing

 

Task description:

For this task I watched a one minute one sport video (which is a one minute video about one sport) and then used google slides to write about my one minute one sport about soccer, I buddied up with Francisco to complete this task. This task was fun and helped me learn a lot more about soccer than I used to, I also want to do more tasks like this.
